Stop-motion animation is a traditional style of animation that I love to experiment with. In one of my projects on my degree course, I wrote an essay about Inspiration, and for the practical I wrote a piece of music and planned out most of an accompanying animation about a girl seeking inspiration to make music with her violin.

For parts of this animation, I cretaed translucent shadow puppets and placed them on a backlit screen with the camera mounted over them.
